Brazilian company, Andrade Gutierrez in cooperation with the Lebanese contractor, has undertaken the construction of this huge dam with 38 million cubic meters of water storage capacity.

To provide more information about the project, the Jannah Dam Biblos on the Nahr Ibrahim River, about 30 km north of Beirut, was designed as an arched gravity dam with a water storage capacity of 38 million cubic meters for water supply in Beirut and surrounding areas.
