Partnership Between ASAS Al-Mohileb and ELKON Strengthens NEOM Projects with Major Equipment Procurements

In a significant development for the construction industry in Saudi Arabia, ASAS Al-Mohileb has chosen ELKON to supply essential concrete equipment for NEOM’s visionary project, "The Line." This collaboration is set to play a crucial role in supporting the construction of one of the most ambitious developments in the world, further solidifying the strategic partnership between ASAS Al-Mohileb and ELKON in the region.

The signing of these contracts highlights a milestone in the relationship between ASAS Al-Mohileb and Elkon, with both companies dedicated to contributing to NEOM’s visionary goals. ELKON has commissioned dozens of concrete plants to ASAS Al-Mohileb, each meticulously configured to meet the specific and rigorous requirements of The Line.

Among the equipment provided are:

• The giant Elkomix-240, featuring a 9000/6000 L ELKON Twinshaft Mixer.
• Several Elkomix-200’s with 7500/5000 L ELKON twinshaft mixers.
• Several Elkomix-180’s with 6750/4500 L ELKON twinshaft mixers.
• Several Elkomix-135’s equipped with 4500/3000 L ELKON twinshaft mixers.

Additionally, each concrete plant is designed with extra weigh hoppers to handle specific requirements of the project, including chemical additives, microsilica, ice, and recycled water additional to cement, aggregate and fresh water. These features ensure the plants can produce customized concrete mixtures to meet the unique challenges posed by the environmental and structural demands of The Line.

The ELKON concrete plants supplied for this project are designed to be highly energy efficient and precise in dosing materials, minimizing waste and ensuring that the environmental impact is significantly reduced.
