Kuwait International Airport which is the largest construction project taken by a Turkish contractor in overseas at once with the Project value of 4.3 million USD, will serve over 25 million passenger in a year after completing the new terminal building.
The Project that will accomplished by Limak Construction, will be aimed to be the first airport which has the LEED Gold certificate in regard to energy and design of environment.
In the project which is supposed to be done in 6 years but is planned to be completed in 4 years by Limak, will be used over 100.000 tons of steel and 1.000.000 cubic meters of concrete. The terminal building which designed by an awarded architecture firm Fosters + Partners will be able to serve to 21 units of A380 which is the biggest double decker wide-body aircraft in the world simultaneously.
