South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) extension projects includes a new 4-lane toll road from Sto. Thomas, Batangas to Tayabas, Quezon. Total extension will be 66,74 km long and the new allignment is divided into six phases from A to F. The project from A to E was awarded to 2 giant local contractors, and the F-phase has not been awarded yet.

ELKON has supplied Mobile Master-135 Jaguar mobile concrete plant to one of these contractors who is awarded to construct phase A&B. ELKON has again supplied 1 unit ELKOMIX-135 Quick Master compact concrete plant to the other contractor of the same extension work, who is awarded for phase C, D and E.

The one which is going to handle the phase A & B, is one of the oldest construction companies in Philippines which is specialized on building roads, bridges, port and harbours. When they are preparing for this project, they started to look for concrete batching plants too.
