A Romanian customer based in Buzau, whose primary activity is the production of precast concrete elements, will also produce ready-mix concrete in the remaining time from their main business.

Thanks to ELKON’s strong reputation in the Romanian market, they were the first manufacturer approached by the company when the need for a high-quality precast concrete batching plant arose. The company purchased the ELKOMIX-60 PL QUICK MASTER Compact Concrete Batching Plant.

The ELKOMIX-60 PL QUICK MASTER Compact Concrete Batching Plant is equipped with a 1500/1000 L ELKON Planetary mixer with a double discharge outlet, capable of producing 1 m³ of vibrated precast concrete. Cement is stored in two 75-ton bolted type cement silos. The plant also features 4x20 m³ inline type aggregate storage bins, which are fed by a fully automated shuttle-type aggregate prefeeding system, eliminating the need for a concrete ramp.

One of the mixer discharge gates is equipped with a 1 m³ holding hopper to facilitate concrete handling by forklift for precast production, while the second discharge gate feeds transit mixers for ready-mix concrete supply.
