GERMANY – NEW Elkomix-60 Concrete Batching Plant for Green Concrete Production

The German company, famous for its high quality architectural basalt stone facades, started concrete production with Elkomix-60 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant in Mendig city located between Frankfurt and Köln.

In this concrete plant where there are 2 units of 75 tons and 500 tons of bolted type cement silos used, 95% of raw materials used in concrete production are recycled material. All the aggregates used comes from recycling of demolished material and most of the binder used is "flue dust". Flue dust is a complex combination of finely divided inorganic particles separated from the exit gases formed during the manufacture of portland cement. Flue dust will be stored in 500 tons cement silo for using in green concrete production.
