An Austrian construction company recently put up an ELKON Mix Master-30 On-Site Concrete Batching Plant in Kaprun, which locates at an altitude of 2500 metres in the ski area and involves the renovation of a sports resort.
This construction site presents a particular challenge due to the challenging environment and high-altitude weather conditions. In order to cover the demand for concrete in a short period of time and to overcome the challenges of such construction projects, the client made a conscious decision to purchase an on-site concrete batching plant for a smooth project completion.
With the help of such a plant, potential risks that could occur during concrete delivery can be avoided. In addition, local concrete production saves considerable transport costs.

All main components are laid out on a trailer chassis with axles and wheels and are therefore transportable by towing which is a great advantage to such places that have limited road access.
