The collaboration with STRABAG Company (Austria), which is the 6th biggest international construction company according to the ENR Top 250 (2014) list, is continuing with sales of 4 units Elkomix-60 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant which are going to be used for Alto Maipo Tunnel Project in Chile.

STRABAG Company met with ELKON’s quality with the Elkomix-60 Compact Concrete Batching Plant which they bought for Hydroelectric Power Plant Project in Permeti-Albania in 2013.

Alto Maipo Tunnel Project will be conducted in 50 km southeast of Santiago. Strabag is going to design and construct the tunnel with a total length of 46.5 km and 2 Hydroelectric Power Plants which names Alfalfal II and Las Lajas with 531 MW total installed power.

2 of these 4 units Elkomix-60 Compact Plant are Elkomix-60 Quick Master DRY Type Model which are designed and manufactured at the request of STRABAG and the other 2 models are standard Elkomix-60 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plants which are equipped with 1500/1000 l. Twinshaft Mixer.

The dry mix discharge chute, which is specially designed for Elkomix-60 Quick Master Dry Type Model, can be replaced with 1500/1000 l. Twinshaft Mixer to make the plant wet type instead of dry type. With this feature our new product Elkomix-60 Quick Master Dry Type Concrete Batching Plant presents flexibility in the production of our clients.

Standard Elkomix-60 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plants, which are equipped with 4x15 m³ Aggregate Storage Bins, 1500/1000 l. Elkon Twinshaft Mixer and 2 cement screw, are going to service to our client in the project that is being considered to finish within 4,5 years.
