Adding new countries to its export geography every day, ELKON has finally managed to bring its machinery to Japan, known as the country of technology.

A Japanese company that supplies cement, ready-mix concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete products, concrete piles and a wide variety of construction materials with a history of 90 years in the sector and with more than 600 employees, has chosen ELKON for the opening of its new factory in Fukushima.

The company decided to invest in a plant to produce ready-mix concrete in the region in order to provide concrete for construction projects that are carried out in the framework of preventing the release of radioactive material in the Fukushima region where the accident from the nuclear plant power occurred and preferred ELKON's concrete plants, which set trends in their field and are manufactured with the highest technology.

As a result of long discussions on technical details and technology exchange, the Japanese company decided on ELKOMIX-120 Quick Master, one of ELKON's compact concrete batching plants. The Quick Master ELKOMIX-120 compact concrete plant, with its main unit, can be installed on a completely flat surface. Thanks to the fact that this plant is equipped with a 4x30 m3 in-line type aggregate hopper, horizontal cement silos and a shuttle-type aggregate pre-feeding system, it offers the user the great advantage of easy installation, portability and low-cost maintenance. There are also many other important elements to highlight in this concrete plant, such as an automatic high-pressure mixer washing system to guarantee quick and efficient cleaning of its interior, a surveillance system with 4 cameras located in key places to monitor the operation in detail and a camera system inside the twinshaft mixer to observe the quality of the mixture in real time. Since the concrete plants will be installed in an area of ​​high seismicity, the main structure of the plant has been specially reinforced for the acceleration produced by the seismic movements that are regular in this region and the entire facility has been designed in accordance with Japanese standards.

Due to travel bans imposed by Japan due to the pandemic, the concrete plant was installed and commissioned by the customer's own installation team with remote support from ELKON engineers. The ELKOMIX-120 Quick Master concrete batching plant, with its modular design and pre-installed  from ELKON's factories, could be installed quickly and easily. The company subsequently immediately ordered a second concrete plant due to its satisfaction, again choosing ELKON for its many other projects in Mongolia and Japan.
