ELKON recently supplied a huge concrete batching plant for Karbala Oil refinery project
The refinery is going to be built on a 6 km² plot of land and expected to produce liquefied gas, gasoline, gas oil, fuel oil, jet fuel and asphalt. The oil produced at the refinery will meet international standards equivalent to European production and will serve the growing domestic demand for oil in Iraq as well.
One of the leading South Korean contracting company which awarded as a concrete supplier for this huge project preferred ELKON, which is the most preffered concrete batching plant suplier for giant construction Projects all around the World.
1 unit ELKOMIX-180 stationary concrete batching plant was delivered and put into operation successfully. The plant has 175 cbm/hour concrete production capacity with its robust 6750/4500 l. twinshaft mixer.
This heavy duty plant was made a strong impression on the representatives of Korean leading contracting company after our enginners installed it.
