American construction technology firm from the Silicone Valley, which started its way with the claim of groundbreaking in the sector, has ordered 5 concrete plants from ELKON to the giant project consisting of 4,101 family houses in Saudi Arabia.
The reason behind the groundbreaking claim in the sector is the completely different and new perspective that the company has brought to the sector. They are focused on transforming the building with technology, as if it were an industrial product.
Within this respect, the company has established its own manufacturing and supply chain. Everything with high added value in construction is produced in their factories and assembly works are carried out on site. This point of view is called “producting the construction”.
With this innovative point of view, the company, which currently operates in the USA and India, has started its projects in Saudi Arabia with the aim of bringing its technologies to the Middle East and Gulf countries.
Along with the signed agreement in the presence of Saudi Arabian Minister of Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail to build 4,101 houses within the framework of the housing development program is led by the Ministry of Housing as part of Saudi Arabia's “Vision 2030: Economic Diversification” mission. Within the scope of the project, 2,482 houses will be built in Mecca and 1,043 houses will be built in Medina Al Munawwarah. In addition, 140, 191 and 245 houses will be built in Al Bahah, Al Jouf and Qassim respectively.
Regardingly, company has ordered 4 units ELKOMIX-90 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant, each equipped with 2250/1500 l. Twinshaft Mixer and 1 unit ELKOMIX-120 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant equipped with 3375/2250 l. Twinshaft Mixer, each of which will be installed in different cities. The plants in ELKON's ‘Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant’ family can be installed and dismantled very quickly, can be easily transported between construction sites and easily installed on flat concrete surface without requiring any special concrete foundation.
Each concrete batching plant has a shuttle type automatic aggregate pre-feeding system for loading aggregates without concrete loading ramps. On the other hand, there are 5 water cooling-chiller units in 5 concrete plants in order to enable the production of high-quality concrete even in hot weather conditions of Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the Project in Saudi Arabia, ELKON supplied the concrete transport buckets, telescopic distributor concrete buckets to distribute the concrete to the desired heights and ELKON automation systems for the existing and new precast factories of the firm in Hyderabad, India.
With such an ambitious and different perspective, it is not surprising that the company which entered the sector very quickly, chose the leading concrete plant manufacturer as the regular and approved supplier.
