One of the largest ready-mix concrete producers with dozens of concrete batching plants in Jordan has increased its production capacity with 3 more ELKON Concrete Batching Plants which were established recently. The company added a second-hand ELKON Mobile Concrete Batching Plant to its fleet for a project a few years ago and met with the high performance and trouble-free operation of the ELKON Concrete Batching Plants.

ELKON has designed and supplied concrete plants for different requirements of 3 separate production sites. In the first site which has a very limited area in the central concrete production facility in Amman, capital of the country, it was requested to provide highest capacity possible although having many limitations on the site where the plant will be installed.

As a result of detailed analysis carried out by ELKON engineers and meetings with company officials, ELKOMIX-200 Concrete Batching Plant with 2 units of 150 tons capacity cement silo, 4-compartment aggregate bunker, each compartment with a capacity of 30 m³ and concrete ramp was placed on a very confined (15x30m²) jobsite with a very special layout according to job site restrictions.

The second facility is the ELKOMIX-135 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant in which the aggregate can be loaded without ramp due to the elevation difference located next to their existing batching plant in Marka region near Amman. Considering the truckmixer approaching difficulties in this facility, double discharge chute for 4500/3000 l. ELKON Twinshaft Mixer was considered which makes it possible that 2 truckmixer can locate under mixing block. In this way, while the truckmixer is being filled from one discharge outlet, the next truckmixer can approach the other outlet, so that serial production can be done without any delay.

The third facility, located near Syrian border where mobility is more important, is the ELKOMIX-135 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant, which combines the advantages of mobile concrete batching plants with the flexibility of stationary concrete batching plants.
