The Readymix Company which have supplied over 30 million cubic meters of concrete for many important projects in Dubai, decided on ELKON after evaluating many alternatives in the selection of concrete plants to produce concrete for a record breaking project with its 40 years of experience. These 2 units of ELKOMIX-200 plants which were erected and started up by Elkon engineers in Deira, will produce high performance concrete for new development going on in Deira area.

ELKOMIX-200 concrete plants which are equipped with 7500/5000 l. ELKON twinshaft mixers individually have 8 different aggregate bins with 30m3 capacity on each and 1000 tons capacity of silos in which 6 different cement types can be stored. Precise aggregate weighing system with customized discharge gate configuration can weigh aggregates in less than 1% accuracy.

It will be easy to handle the temperature of the concrete thanks to the ice weigh hopper which will be connected to the ice plant to weigh and add the ice into the mixture.

With 2 units ELKOMIX-200 stationary concrete plants, with a total production capacity of 400 cubic meters per hour, it is planned to open up the project by the EXPO 2020 organization with concrete production for 6 days 24 hours a week.
