When Dangote decided moving into road construction has joint ventured with Andrade-Gutierrez of Brasil and AG DANGOTE Construction Company was established.

AG Dangote had ordered their first ELKON Concrete batching plant at that time and they constructed the hitherto deplorable 25 km. long Ibese-Itori road, as a corporate social responsibility project as a solution to the incessant failure of bituminous roads.

ELKON Mobile Master-135 Jaguar mobile concrete batching plant was supplied in 2014 for this “historical project”. We have called this project “historical” as Mr. Aliko Dangote called because the road is the first concrete road project that the Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), have formally commissioned in Nigeria.

After completion of this very special project, it seems the company has become a remedy for huge nation resources wasting for unending rehabilitation of roads thanks to high quality and durable concrete road which can last for a very long time.
As a result, AG Dangote keeps getting more projects around the country, therefore a new concrete plants demand has arisen. Due to the company’s satisfaction with quality of the first ELKON plant, they, without a second thought, decided to go for ELKON again for the new demands.

Within this respect, 2 more concrete batching plants supplied for AG Dangote this year. One of the plants is exactly the same one with their first plant, which is ELKON Mobile Master-135 Jaguar mobile concrete batching plant with a 4500/3000 l. twin shaft mixer.

The second plant which AG Dangote ordered this year, which is their 3^rd ELKON concrete plant actually, is ELKOMIX-60 Quick Master compact concrete batching plant having 55 m³/hour concrete production capacity with a 1500/1000 l. twin shaft mixer.
